What to do when you have Covid disease
  1. If a student at the University is suspected of having a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), he or she should be immediately suspended from the academic process and sent home to call a member therapist at home, reporting the case to the group supervisor, curator or to the Dean of the Faculty.
  2. Upon receipt of a confirmed positive laboratory result for a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the student, using available means of communication, notifies the group supervisor or the Dean of the Faculty.
  3. If a student is confirmed to have a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the person in charge, together with the head doctor of the Polyclinic, should form information about the student's contacts (name, date of birth, actual residence address), within the educational process, to pass them through a report note to the First Vice Rector - Vice Rector for academic work or Vice Rector for Economics and Informatization.
  4. The Dean of the Faculty, where a confirmed case of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been identified, is preparing an order to transfer contact persons among students and employees to a distance learning (work) format.
  5. T.M. Khrustaleva, head doctor, prepares and sends a letter about the sick person and persons who were in contact with him to the Oktyabrsky territorial department of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration on the railroad - N.N. Artemyeva, chief state sanitary doctor on the Oktyabrskaya railroad. Information about a sick person is also sent to ROSZHELDOR, the Northwestern Transport Prosecutor's Office, places information on the forms in the information-analytical system "Monitoring".
  6. Upon receipt of a prescription from the Chief State Sanitary Inspector for the Oktyabrskaya Railway, N. N. Artemyeva, the head doctor of the Polyclinic notifies the Dean's Office of the need to take the measures specified in the prescription and prepares a letter on the measures taken to the Chief State Sanitary Inspector for the Oktyabrskaya Railway.
  7. Admission to study of a sick student is carried out on providing a certificate obtained from the polyclinic at the place of residence. Admission to full-time studies of persons who were in contact at the end of the self-isolation period specified in the prescription from the Chief State Sanitary Doctor for the Oktyabrskaya Railway N. N. Artemyeva is carried out upon presentation of a certificate obtained from the polyclinic at the place of residence.
  8. N.A. Lobanova, Head of the Housing Department, isolates people who were in contact with the sick and who live in the University dormitory into special observation rooms for 14-day observation.

Restrictions on Covid-19 until 06.02.21
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, until February 6, 2021, classes will be in distance format only, including an exam session. More details about the Rector's order can be found here.

Due to worsening of epidemiological situation in St.-Petersburg the accommodation of 1st year students in the University dormitories is STOPPED till 6th of February 2021.

We kindly ask all international students not to plan to come to St. Petersburg before the end of the pandemic.
